Mercer Lake Estates HOA
The Board Of Directors

PRESIDENT DAN LEWIS
I've been a local residential building contractor for over 30 years specializing in custom homes. We volunteer our time to our community, always willing to help out and sponsor a good cause. My wife Jasmine is always very passionate about being involved in many aspects for the PTA, she held many positions ,ending in president for many years and still attending all meetings as a volunteer currently. Both my children are very involved in sports and both are honor roll students.
I'm a father, a husband, an employer, and a friend.
I've been listening to all the concerns of everybody. It caused me to have to develop a different outlook on our situation.
We definitely are a diverse community made up of all kinds of people. One thing we have in common is protecting our biggest investment which is our homes.
We have a lot of work ahead of us
• Maintaining our common area, like it or not it is part of our property value.
• Responsible tree and vegetation management that is currently needed.
I also believe it's important to keep HOA costs in perspective. I do believe an adjustment will need to be made of our current dues that is fair to all but will also allow us to properly maintain our Community. Major decisions need to be made as a group and carried out by your HOA.
I believe my construction background, project management experience, and commitment to this community can help ensure we continue making practical, responsible decisions that balance maintenance and responsible use of HOA funds .

SECRETARY ALEX CLARK
My name is Alex Clark, and I have been a member of our HOA since 2013. My wife, daughter, and I are proud to call this community home. We have always loved lake life, and it is the reason we chose to live here. Over the years, our family has enjoyed the lake alongside our children and grandchildren, and we care deeply about preserving what makes this community special.
TREASURER KARLA HOLLOWAY
My husband, Tim and I have lived in the Florence/Mapleton area for over 22 years, and within the Mercer Lake Homeowners Association for over 16 years.
We’ve raised kids and now grand kids on Mercer Lake. We all enjoy the lake life.
Mercer Lake is a wonderful community within Florence to live in.
I have been a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 1984 . I am confident that I can add value to my seat on the Board of Directors of the HOA. I have performed tax and accounting services to many of Florence’s businesses and HOAs, and feel that, that HOA experience will be especially valuable in assisting with the issues facing our homeowners association.

MARLENE DOHN........SUPPORTIVE BOARD MEMBER
Hello neighbors and fellow members of the Mercer Lake Estates HOA.
I own a home and an adjacent lot on View Loop and have lived here for over 34 years. I
moved here from California while I was in my mid-thirties and I was about halfway
through my career with the US Forest Service. I mostly worked locally but, occasionally
throughout the country for major incidents involving public safety and resource
protection. I retired after 30 years, with 22 years in law enforcement.
I enjoy the quiet neighborhood and especially like that we have a healthy resident deer
population, even though they eat most of my good plants! I also lead a pretty active life
with recreational pursuits like golf, pickleball, some kayaking and hiking.

YOLANDA ROSS..........SUPPORTIVE BOARD MEMBER
My husband and I have lived within the HOA since 1995, when we first moved to Oregon. We had visited Florence many times prior to moving here to enjoy ATV riding in the Oregon Dunes and fell in love with the area. When we were looking for a place to retire to, Florence stood out from all the other areas we had looked at. While my husband was retired, I still wanted to work, so I applied to the Florence Police Department as a 911 Operator/Dispatcher. I had worked for a larger Sheriff's Department as a 911 Operator/Law Enforcement Dispatcher from 1976 to 1995, so I brought with me a lot of experience in that role. I retired for good from the Florence Police Department in 2022, after 27 years of service to the local community.
As a Mercer Lake Estates HOA board member, I will work to make sure all residents’ voices and concerns are heard. I believe major changes should be voted on by property owners. After all, the members are the HOA.
