Welcome

It all began in 1968 with a fellow named Ruel Chapman(1915-1994), a logger, land developer and namesake for Chapman Road that runs through our HOA.  The first(1969) designated area was the Mercer Lake Estates off Mercer Lake Rd.  Added a year later and up the hill off Collard Lake Rd sprung the development, called Mercer Lake Heights which was soon to be followed by the adjacent expansion of Mercer Lake Heights - First Addition.  In 1979, the final expansion of the HOA went eastward along View Rd and Ocean View Lane to become the Mercer Lake Heights - Second Addition.  All this together makes up what we now just call Mercer Lake Estates Homeowners Association.
